It was a special hotel in a lovely area, close to Rana Roja Lodge, and the rainforest and windows. The staff were amiable and amazingly nice day and night. The venue's position was remote. In the restaurant they served Caribbean cuisine dishes.

The jungle experience was mind-blowing! Surrounded by red frogs and monkeys, the sounds of the jungle at night were jaw-dropping. The clean bungalows with mosquito nets made us feel safe and comfortable. The hotel manager was super nice and helped us book tours and shuttle. Excellent service from start to finish, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was one of the best in Tortuguero, with paths leading to the rainforest. The staff explained all the tour options and organized them, providing private tours with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. The restaurant had a good choice if you didn't want to go to the village, and the pool and premises were well maintained. The bar at the waterfront was a nice touch. it was an excellent choice for a great jungle adventure! Additionally, we enjoyed the free Wi-Fi, bar/lounge area, restaurant, swimming pool.

The rooms at Rana Roja Lodge are absolutely amazing! They have private balconies or patios, which is great for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. The showers with rainfall showerheads make you feel like you're in a luxurious spa. And the safes in the rooms give you peace of mind knowing that your belongings are secure. As a guest who appreciates comfort and relaxation, I couldn't have asked for more.
Honestly, I can't think of any cons about the rooms at Rana Roja Lodge. But if I had to pick something, I guess it would be that the rainfall showerheads might not be everyone's cup of tea.

The location of the hotel is incredible, nestled in the rainforest and only a short boat taxi ride away from the village. The hotel provides free kayaks for guests to use, saving me money on rentals. The locals are friendly and helpful, and the staff assisted me with everything I needed. I can't wait to return to this peaceful and beautiful place.
I recommend this hotel.

We absolutely got great value for our money at Rana Roja Lodge. The room may have been basic, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. The location, set in the middle of the rainforest with a lagoon view, was simply paradise. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Jacob who went above and beyond to assist us with transportation and recommendations for activities and dining options. The free use of kayaks was a fantastic bonus, allowing us to explore a tranquil route in the lagoon.
Hotel breakfast could have been improved by offering warmer and more flavorful options.
